Because each personalized item is custom-crafted just for your pet, please allow 2 business days for us to process, engrave, or embroider your order before it ships out.

Once your order is ready and leaves our facility, standard delivery times will apply based on the shipping method you select at checkout. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your package is on its way!
What happens if I made a typo in my customization details?

Please email us immediately at orders@gotags.com with your Order Number and the corrected text.

Because our production team gets to work quickly on personalized items, we typically have a narrow window—less than 24 hours from when your order is placed—to update customization details before engraving or embroidery begins. While we can't guarantee changes after production has started, we'll do everything we can to catch it in time!
How do I properly measure my pet for this collar?

Getting an accurate measurement before ordering is essential, as personalized collars cannot be returned or resized if ordered in the wrong size.

Here is how to get the perfect fit:

  1. Use a Soft Tape Measure: Wrap a flexible measuring tape around the base of your pet's neck where their collar normally rests. (If you don't have a soft tape, use a string and measure it against a standard ruler.)
  2. The Two-Finger Rule: Slip two fingers flat between the measuring tape and your pet's neck. This ensures the collar sits comfortably without being too tight or choking them.
  3. Compare to the Size Chart: Choose the collar size range where your pet’s measurement falls comfortably near the middle—not at the absolute smallest or largest setting.
Nylon & Hemp Collars: Are these collars machine washable?

Yes, they are machine washable!

  1. Remove all ID tags and attachments from the collar.
  2. Machine wash on a gentle or delicate cycle using cold or warm water with a mild detergent.
  3. Air dry only—do not place in the dryer, as high heat can damage the hardware and webbing.

I've been using this collar on my indoor cats for a long time. I replace the collar when the reflective coating wears off. My current cat is so used to his collar that when you take it off of him, he acts like part of him has been taken away - haha! I always keep at least one collar on hand.

Everything I wanted in a collar

Great collar! Clasp was actually pretty sturdy, the high vis and reflective material were great. Unfortunately my outdoor cat is in a turf war with another male and had the collar ripped off and lost within a day. Still, I recommend this collar for outdoor cats who are maybe a bit less rambunctious.

Perfect, attractive and secure

This collar is great! It’s adjustable, reflective, and has the breakaway buckle feature but doesn’t fall off easily. I’d purchased a breakaway collar from a local chain that had an oval plastic clasp. It felt flimsy but I figured I’d give it a try. It fell off at home, so I knew then there’s no way I could trust it to stay on if my cat escaped our house. If I need a replacement in years to come, I’ll buy this GoTags collar again.

Too short

Very reflective ...I'm unhappy with the length, though. It comes up too short on my regular sized adult cat, and it appears to have a bit of a slip to it, to the point that I'm afraid it won't stay adjusted. Doesn't feel very secure.

One of the best products!

Its very sturdy and reflective at night which is very convenient for my black cat if he escapes at night. It does not break away easily which is fine with me since other breakaway collar that I have purchase open easily and I have to keep putting them on frecuently which is a bummer. Also is ajustable and won't leave extra material and looks cute on my cat. Overall a 10/10 for me and would recommend 100%

Excellent Collars!

This is our preferred collar for our cat and use it in conjunction with the Birdsbesafe collar. Our cat is out often and to prevent her from preying on birds she must wear her collar. She does occasionally come back with no collar which means she got into a tight space and needed to break free. We are much more at peace knowing she can get out of her collar without harm. These have a nice bell and you can have your pets name put on as well-very handy for a wandering cat. We buy only these-they are easy to fit and sturdy.

Nice collar

The collar is great for being able to hear where the cat is at, but it is probably best to not purchase a collar that blends in with the color of your cat. She becomes quite difficult to see in the dead of night. The great thing is having the reflective strip too see in the dim light.

High-quality but too big.

These are high-quality. Unlike the cheap safety collars, the reflective material stays on, and the breakaway is neither too strong nor weak.

My only complaint is that they cannot be adjusted to a smaller size. I can't get the snug 2-finger fit on any of my three cats, and one of them is quite large.

Love the reflective strip on the collar and the breakaway buckle. I have two concerns though.
1. Cat collars should be made of stretch material incase the collar gets snagged on a branch. The breakaway buckles are often too strong for small cats.
2. The length of the collars is ridiculously long. They are meant for house cats not cougars. Yes , they are adjustable but on a 9 pound cat I have to almost double up the collar to get it to fit.
Other than that they are great.

Great product without the pet name and phone number embossed on it. The adjustment buckle covers up the info because it is embossed in the middle of collar.
